COVID19 Impact on Our Students

As you know, with your help we have been supporting three young women in Cambodia to gain access to further education in an effort to help them help themselves, in the never-ending fight to step out of the perpetual trap of poverty.

Two of these women (Kimsoun & Dany) are still going through university, although Covid-19 has put a stop to this for the moment. In fact, Covid-19 has put a stop to more than just their continued education.

Both young women have lost their jobs as teachers' assistants. Cambodia has shutdown. There is no government assistance. For people that survive on a substance lifestyle, like most of Cambodia, Covid-19 is catastrophic.

We have sent out a call for donations, in the hope that we can support Kimsoun, Dany and through them their families, helping them survive the impact of the loss of income and the COVID19 crisis.
